Kai Brüninghaus has been working in the field of fine art photography for more than 25 years. Within that, his focus lies on panoramic formats, whereby he develops new perspectives to fathom this medium’s own aesthetic. A clear, expressive imagery characterises his style. Beyond that, photographic creations emerge that develop an own message through collage-like assembled discoveries, in-between representational depictions and abstract images.
From 1985 to 1990, Kai Brüninghaus studied fine arts in Cologne and is a master's student at Prof. Stefan Wewerka.
